The immaculate lobby continues in a romantic patio, a former cloister embellished by ranks of olive trees which opens up to a lush garden, a green oasis which allows the guest a glimpse at the belltower of the church through palm trees, fig trees and laurel trees. The masterpiece of Villa Clarisse is the outdoor pool heated at 26ºC proposing moments of intense relaxation. The future spa, whose opening is scheduled for the summer of 2019, promises great instants of happiness.

Villa Clarisse is the little sister of the Hôtel de Toiras. A nice property full of character ideally located in the heart of Saint Martin, whilst embedded in an oasis of green.
It is hidden behind the entrance door to a little paradise with unexpected calm, simply a delight! Superb, spacious and comfortable suites, decorated with subtlety, with a harmonious combination of modern and antique furniture in white and beige shades with a very relaxing effect. Large and magnificent bathroom with shower and bathtub. Excellent bedding. The welcome is remarkable; the staff is attentive, warm and discreet. The copious breakfast with its fresh and local products is excellent, served in magnificent porcelain. An exceptional place, a privileged moment on the Island of Ré!”
I left with my fiancée for the Island of Ré in summer and we wanted to have something intimist, warm and in particular with a garden. After a short search, we discovered Villa Clarisse at 30 minutes from la Rochelle.
Perfect! On the website they referred to a nice family property with pool, garden, a relaxing and intimate place. And that’s exactly what it is. The villa does not have many rooms and you can feel it. We were two couples and one couple with two kids. This seems a lot for a villa and nonetheless we had the impression to have it only for us. We hope to return this year; it was an unforgettable, intimate experience which has strengthened our couple even more!”
